2nd Grade – The Grass Is Always Greener Mrs. Rumberger, Mrs.Weger, Miss Weller 

Today we Skyped with Cheery Children’s Educational Center. They asked questions and we asked questions.  It made us feel good that they clapped for our answers. They asked our favorite color, favorite food, and what our weather was like. We learned they eat beans and rice for lunch. We learned there are elephants, lions, giraffes and zebras in Kenya. We also learned they fear ghosts, snakes, lions, and walking at night. At the end they sang for us.

Welcome to the Team2nd blog. This is place where we will share ideas and projects that our 2nd teachers and students have done. We are three teachers who work and teach collaboratively. We have semi-open classrooms. One third of our walls are open, creating a collaborative atmosphere that allows students to work with any one of the three teachers in order to best meet each student’s needs. It is our pleasure to get to know each student in second grade.
